Middle of the week :) good to know theres a long weekend up ahead. Taking a hike up lions head in the morning really looking forward to it :) been jogging everyday this week feeling abit sore but anything is possible ounce you put your mind to it. Really am so exited managed to order afew of those pieces from Etsy as a gift from my brother who lives in the states ecstatic for it to arrive i`ll give you all a preview soon:) watched a truly phenomenal movie called the peace full warrior it was so positive and moving. there are no ordinary moments. One of the quotes that got me the most was this
This remains true as most people tend to ponder about where the moment is leading to that they fail to embrace the present. I try think of this quote when i start being negative my other favourites are:
The journey is what brings us happiness not the destination
The ones who are hardest to love are usually the ones who need it the most
Dan Millman: Life has just three rules? Socrates: And you already know them...
Dan Millman: Paradox, humour, and change.
Socrates: Paradox...
Dan Millman: Life is a mystery. Don't waste time trying to figure it out. Socrates: Humour...
Dan Millman: Keep a sense of humour, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure. Socrates: Change...
Dan Millman: Know that nothing stays the same.
Death isn't sad. The sad thing is: most people don't live at all.
You'll be amazed at what you can do and how well you can do it.
“There is no need to search; achievement leads to nowhere. It makes no difference at all, so just be happy now! Love is the only reality of the world, because it is all One, you see. And the only laws are paradox, humour and change. There is no problem, never was, and never will be. Release your struggle, let go of your mind, throw away your concerns, and relax into the world. No need to resist life, just do your best. Open your eyes and see that you are far more than you imagine. You are the world, you are the universe; you are yourself and everyone else, too! It's all the marvellous Play of God. Wake up, regain your humour. Don't worry, just be happy. You are already free!”
Dan Millman,

Joined my sister Angie at 2 events this past week a cooking competition at a wine farm as well as the Taste festival truly had a divine evening. Was lucky to get a complimentary ticket:DStarted the evening at my sisters stand was treated to a tasting of a 25 year old whiskey which was superb retailing at almost R4000 a bottle definitely worth keeping took one home as a souvenir. Tasted some wine...chocolate deserts(most amazing iv had) Patron certainly something to rave about as well as some vodka mousse which was strange a product from the states. Had the most decedent chocolate orange coffee would pay to have that again. Ended off the festival helping them pack up then it was a trip home:)
